Using composer (but on a different machine, a Debian Stretch), this time I get a completely different bug: Command phpcs not found, but can be installed with: sudo apt install php-codesniffer The phpcbs executable also resides in the same folder and I cannot run that as well. The simplest way of using PHPCodeSniffer is to provide the location of a file or folder for PHPCodeSniffer to check.
